Have to save my fuel money for the 17th / 18th rideout.
And up over the Buttertubs to.... booohooo... another one of my fav little journts. Dam dam dam.... Arrrr well, hopefully the 17th/18th Rideout will be Fantastic weather and there will not be a hint of Romeo, Alpha, India, November (don't say the word) in the air....

Well I had a bimble upto Devils, my favorite route Oakenclough, quenmore, caton, crook o lune, Kirby Lonsdale, then Ingleton, Hawes, Askrigg, Aysgarth, Skipton home yesterday.
Bum hurt and legs ached, but what the hell it was glorious. got permission to play out again today, but staying local.

Well I did a family day today, left the car at White Coppice and walked Jasper up to Great Hill, whilst only about 4 Km it is the steepness of the ascent in places that tells on these ageing muscles. And then you got to walk back.
I deserved my fizzy drink and keep the blood sugars up Mars bar when I got back to the cricket pitch.
