How many litres of coolant? Curvy.
Hi guys about to order some coolant of ebay for my sv650 curvy 02 . Cant find the amount I need in the haynes. Only website I could find a number was in quarts worked out about 1.933 litres. Should i buy three just to be safe.

You'll need distilled water if its not pre-mix (most isn't).

The antifreeze additive does the corrosion/prevention controlling, ordinary tap water to get the correct mixture ratio will be fine.

I'd say it depends on the water in your area. In a soft water area I'd happily use tap water. Where I am the water is actually something like 90% limestone with just enough water to let it move through the pipes so I buy distilled or premixed.

Luckily up here in Scotland the waters great we don't get limescale at all. I bought pre mixed coolant. Ill run the hose pipe through it to clean out the coolant system. Then take all the old fluid to the recycling dump. Got about 10lt of oil to get rid of as well.
