Default decision time.

I have now made a decision on what bike to get/ I sat on a SV650 sport at the dealers and didn't like the position of the handle bars and to spend another £200 or more to get comfort bars was a no no.
so now I will be getting the new ER6F next year as it ticks all the right box's.anyway buds thanks for the little tips etc. john

Did you ride the SV?

Seems a shame to settle for second best.

If you sat on the sport model and would need to spend £200 to make it comfortable, why not try the naked model(oooh errr)which would cost you several hundred pounds less to start with?

It was only looks that made me chose a SV over an ER6F and, without riding them, I think they are technically pretty equal. So a good choice, buy what fits.

Not strictly true. A V-Twin and a four cylinder engine behave very differently. If you haven't signed anything yet, I would strongly recommend you try to ride both before deciding.
