New Fairings
Hi guys
I had an off last year, my back wheel locked on ice and snow, and I toppled over at about 25mph. The right hand side of my bike is now still covered in cracks/scratches in the fairing, and I've been looking to replace them this summer (with crash bungs this time!) The problem is, after a couple of months looking on the for sale section here, and doing many searches on the net, I haven't been able to get anything like what I'm looking for. So, I'd be really greatful if someone could point me in the right direction, give me a good website for aftermarket fairings or whatever! I'm looking for the front RHS fairing, that little fairing to the right of the front parking light, and hopefully some replacement lowers as well. My bike is a "candy grand blue" curvey. Thanks, Larry. |

Re: New Fairings
Yes I've looked at getting them from ebay, sometimes a RHS front comes up, but I've never seen a set of lowers on there. If nobody knows where I can get them new, it might have to become half-faired again!

Re: New Fairings
A brand new one from a Suzuki dealer should be less than £130.............no need to get one re-sprayed then if it's the wrong colour, and you're guaranteed a completely unmarked one.
Not cheap, true, but significantly cheaper than a lot of bike plastics.

Re: New Fairings
Sorry, should have made it clear the £130 is for the small, RHS plastics.

Re: New Fairings
I've tried at the local bike breakers several times, and they've said they'd let me know if any came in, but no luck there in about 6 months!
Had a look at the DK website, there aren't any on there but I'll have to phone them as well and ask someone, thanks |
