Default Hi-Fi's with Lightning Connector

Morning all

My son has asked for a Hi-Fi for xmas but with a Lightning Connector for his iPod. I have found 1 which is an LG Hi-Fi but it has no remote and owing to where it needs to be located in his room a remote would be preferable.

I have scoured Google but all it does is bring up Hi-Fi's with all iPod connectors (mainly the 30-pin.

Does anyone know a good site where you can search specifically for the lightning connector?

Cheers

Depends how many notes you want/ are willing to spend.

The apple store would be your first port if call, find what you are interested there then google the best prices.

Edit:

Removed reference to apple remote as you need the universal dock as it is IR based.

Don't know anything much about the Apple Lightning connector system other than a cursory read of an article somewhere, but does it have to be Lightning?

There are all sorts of ways to stream from ipod to hi-fi these days, bluetooth etc, even if it means a cheap and cheerful ipod dock which will do it for you. Worth looking into alternatives, Lightning compatibility is going to restrict your choices dramatically I'd have thought.

These support audio I believe. Make sure it's a genuine apple one and not a pattern copy off ebay though. Many of the cheap copies won't support audio.

This'll open up a wider choice of HIFI for you I'd have thought?

Bout £150 is the budget, he has specifically asked for a Hi-Fi for Xmas. The one I found is an LG CM4430 which has a Lightning dock but does not mention a remote.

i might be wrong but the LC is just a USB but has the new 8 pin on the other end to attach to the ipod, if so then any hifi with a usb should do the trick.

Try one of these.
Available via ebay and pretty much anywhere like amazon etc...
Also has the added benefit anything with bluetooth will stream to it...

I use the 30 to lightning on a few items and it works fine. But as said get genuine apple 1. This would be my choice.
