SV650s and GSXR600 interchangeable parts - anyone? - SV650.org

I'm trying to find a comprehensive list of all parts that are interchangeable between K3 SV650's onwards and GSXR's. People always talk about the front end (forks etc) being a straight swap, but what else can be done?

Any ideas?

not sure, but can i ask y you might want to change any other bits?

i think the only other thing is some people reccomend the rear shock swap!

Why not just buys a GSXR in the 1st place??

Was thinking of suping (?) up my SV for mini-twin series racing - power commander, full race can, better suspension etc, so it seemed that using GSXR bits would be a good start if they're already interchangeable.

Would buy a GSXR for road use if I didn't prefer R6's!

I think you'll find most of those useful mods- forks, etc- will fall foul of the minitwins rulse. Are you allowed a GSXR shock?

Power is resticted, so comanders etc arent allowd so i beleieve. PM Mike1234, im sure he will tell you all you need to know,as he raced the last 2 seasons

Jimmer,

You're not allowed to change the forks etc. Have a look on www.minitwins.co.uk for the rules and suggested changes.
