Re: The running thread!
Do you already have the kit & shoes you are running in? Have you tried them?
Put them in the cupboard and don't touch them again or change your mind, everything inc. socks. |

Bow
Got new shoes waiting for me at the post office. Vest is being ordered by the charity this week so I don't know when I'll get that. Not decided about other clothing yet. |

Get some miles on them shoes then put them away. Decide on your most comfortable/favourite kit now and put it away, one less thing to panic about once taper madness sets in! Last edited by krhall; 25-03-10 at 09:58 PM. |

Re: The running thread!
I can confirm LSU's lakes are ideal for running around, plenty to view.
Running in the warmth was great, so much so I went back for another run 6am the next morning, also handy in burning off the burger I'd had in Hooters the night before.... |

Re: The running thread!
Was intending to do Liverpool HM today but I woke up too late and my heart wasn't in it - so I bailed. Did 11.4 over to Montford Bridge (AR06 campsite, remember?) and back instead, deliberately doing slow - 9.5min/miling. Speed will come... I forgot to bring some money with to buy a drink at the shop over Montford Bridge, so I was feeling dehydrated on the way back.
