Been there a while I think. It's a composite aircraft, not many were kept after the war.

Back from a couple of days at Sioned and her partner Jacob's house in Coventry. Horrendous journey going there, much better and more straightforward coming back.

We had a busy day yesterday getting stuck into the garden. The first time I was there we lifted the grass down one side to create a nice wavey border. Sioned put a couple of plants in back then and yesterday we put in more plants which I took over there with me. It was a mix of flowers and veg I'd grown from seed. The main thing though was digging a pond!

The top half of the border (and a snoozing lurcher!). Lots more plants to go in the border yet.

The bottom half of the new border (with piles of excavated soil) and the pond.

The liner and underlay has been ordered and should arrive in the next few days, and I bought the sand with which to line the pond before the underlay goes in.

Back home now and I need to finish the dog coat I've been asked to make for a friend's daughter's dog.

This was where I was at with it over the weekend.

And this is where I got to before I went to Coventry. All three straps and associated velcro in place, and the slot cut for the harness ring to go through.

I just need to add binding to the raw edges of the slot and it's done.

Thanks Trevor. I just make stuff up and muddle through it as I go along.

The finished coat. Couple of bits that I'm not all that happy with. Some of the stitching on the harness ring reinforcing patch leaves a bit to be desired.
