Morning all. Grey and dull here again. Wet roads and low temps mean the bike is probably going to stay put today. A couple of gardening jobs and walk Mabel but the rest of it will be indoors stuff I think.

Anyone got anything exciting planned for the day?

Grey and blinkin' well freezing here, so while I have thought about a spin on the bike, the attractions of central heating, regular coffees and not freezing my @rse off is currently winning!

Got some catching up on TV shows to do: need to finish Cra / Torment, the Gaelic drama on iPlayer and a couple of other things too.

Oops, just remembered I'm working at a repair café this afternoon! Better get my skates on and get going.

What sorts of things get brought into the repair caff, Gary? What sort of strange / memorable stuff have you worked on?

Went for a walk through the local woods with Lady Poppy this morning as it was dull but dry and chilly. As I was having lunch later I decided the roads were dry enough so.... I got out for my first ride of the year. Thank heavens for two wheel therapy (and heated grips, and MnS thermal long johns).

Bullseye fired straight up and ran sweet as, but I was a bit chilly when I got back 90 minutes later. First time I've been out in Feb for quite a few years, and I still have a grin on my face.

All sorts comes in for repair Craig. I've had clocks, lamps, ornaments, computers, bicycles, sewing machines (both electric and hand cranked). I've also dealt with kettles, steam cleaners strimmers, lawnmowers, lots of garden tools for sharpening - the list is endless. It's good fun and very rewarding.

It's always so good to get out on two wheels, even at this time of the year Trevor. Four wheels may move the body, but two wheels definitely move the soul!

The past week has been spent settling the new dog in. He's about 18months old and we are his 4th (and final) home! He's not fully house trained, so there has been a few accidents. He's bright, so is picking stuff up quickly. Like any young dog he can get bored quickly so its tiring keeping him occupied.

Today is a new challenge as Mel is back in wok so its just me trying to work from home with him hanging out with me. I've decided to keep him in the office with me and he's been settled so far.

He will be a great dog with the right guidance and training.

Morning all - bright but very chilly again here. I'm being a medical shuttle service today and tomorrow, running my mum to various appointments (which she absolutely loves, as she gets to witter on at the other elderly people in the waiting room about their various ailments).

What's on your agenda?

Hopefully taking the Granddaughter to the Battlefield line heritage railway for a train ride. Its half term so other activities she goes to are cancelled. I am having a few problems with my Sacroiliac joint which is a pain literally as I have a load to do in the garden, but it will have to wait

Well done for giving Mike the hound a permanent home. I think he's in for a lovely life by the sound of it.
