Seeing as The Sun have let us down - no £9.50 holiday for us this year

- I can confirm that the Vox's will be hosting their usual BBQ on Easter Monday to celebrate the start of the biking season (for those who don't ride all year round anyway !!

)

The meeting place will be the same as before - the local Lidl supermarket - see link below for a map

The meeting time will be 2:00pm - to leave at 2:15pm - to arrive at Chez Vox for about 3:00pm after a little bimble around the local lanes

Directions from the seafront are :-

Ride east to the traffic lights at The Kursaal (sea on your right, arcades on your left) - turn LEFT - at roundabout take 3RD EXIT - look for LIDL SIGN on the right.

As per usual all Org-ans are welcome - a PM nearer the time would be appreciated just so we can get some idea of numbers.

We've been lucky in the past (ok, so it was snowing in London a couple of years ago - but Saafffend was sunny !!) so keep your fingers crossed for good weather !!

Me too, always a great day in my calendar regardless of the weather. Tho that year you had the pool out and i was sat in shorts wih my legs in the water mmmmm, well lets hope for weather like that again!

Yay - I'll be there, either pillion or at worst in the car. If BBC is already making cake then I may throw together some of the lamb & coriander and beef & stilton burgers that I usually serve at my BBQs in ciabatta rolls.

For once i can say 100% that i will not be there... unlike most years. I shall be in the land of the leek watching my mates daughter throw herself out of a plane for charidy!
