Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Default Now that's a turn up for the books

Just received the following email (I've edited bits out, because the site isn't U-Rated).

What you want, when you want it
Now I haven't checked it out, but from a quick google, it appears to be a website dedicated to ladies of a certain persuation. Namely homos3xual ladies.

However, I have a feeling that if I click any links, or login to the account, that I've just validated my email adress for spam. Clever plan!

Provided you get access to the site, what's the problem with the spam? Small price to pay, isn't it?

It's a dating website by the google lookup I did. I also did a google images, and wasn't that impressed.

If things had of been different, I'd of shared the account with the IT bod here that's responsible for the proxy logs & got him to crank up the spam filter a couple of notches.

But alas, it's not quite what you were thinking

Now then, c'est interesant!!

Today, I got another email (well, 2 of the same actually):
Quote:
Hello Baph@hotmail.co.uk: [that addr doesn't exist, but it's to prevent spam bots reading my address]

You recently asked to reset your Windows Live ID password by e-mail. Follow the instructions below to reset your password, or to cancel your password reset request.

TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD:

1. Select and copy the following Internet address.

Linky type thing to reset my password

2. Open a browser, paste the link in the address bar, then press Enter or Return on your keyboard.

IF YOU DID NOT REQUEST TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD:

1. Select and copy the following Internet address.

Linky type thing to cancel the reset request

2. Open a browser, paste the link in the address bar, then press Enter or Return on your keyboard.

Thank you,

Windows Live ID Customer Support

NOTE:
Please do not reply to this message, which was sent from an unmonitored e-mail address. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered.
So, with a little caution (copied & pasted link, made sure it was pointing to MSN), I hit the cancel request. Afterall, I know my password!

It seems that the email yesterday could of been about a genuine lady registering on a genuine website. Only "she" entered the wrong email address, and then tried to go through the motions to reset my password & get access to "her" account on said website.

That makes me wonder; now that I'm a bonafide homos3xual lady (I always said I was, trapped in a mans body), what else have I been signed up for?
