I bought a new laptop today! :)

Its a little diddy thing an Advent 4211 ... anyone else got one?!!?

I am writing this post on it right now!!

I could do with a spare battery or two ... but PC world didn't sell them!! ...

I like it coz it is ickle ... its only slightly bigger than an A5 piece of paper (well its about a 4.5).

The monitor is still good resolution, the processor is man enough for word processing/surfing and a fair bit more ... the 1gb of memory is again enough for the same ... but the big bonus is the size and the weight ... it weighs 1.2kg ... that's about the same as an average sized hardback!!

Sounds like it ticks all your boxes then I feel tempted to get a new laptop myself now...hehe

Its <£300 too ... so you won't feel too precious about it ... unlike a proper laptop, I reckon you could slip it in a handbag ok

I`m typing this on an Advent laptop too (my sons).. home pc knackered and i suspect i`ll have to buy a new one very soon. Been thinking I might just get a laptop instead. He`s had no probs with this one and it takes a hammering, he`s well chuffed with it.
