Swine Flu?
Swine Flu!
55,000 have it in the UK. 29 have died of it in the UK! How many PIGS have been reported with it? Not ONE! Harrogate show Pig section is in full swing. Strange kind of Swine flu Hu? Farmers not worried. DEFRA not worried. Just think back to foot and mouth! Hmmmmm! I smell a fish flavoured rat! |

I'm not sure of your point here, are you being sarcastic or misunderstanding?

Re: Swine Flu?
How dull! Too many people jumping on the swine flu bandwagon when all they have is a bloody cold! This is all fueled by media hype, its rediculos. I could phoen NHS direct now, saying that i have the sysmptoms (Listed on the site) they say, oh, you have swine flu, take 4 days off and stay indoors, and there you have it another 'case' when all they want is a week off work. Some doctors will not even let you in the surgery if you are suspected of it.
Pandemic? More like hysteria. |

Re: Swine Flu?
Interesting to see the reactions above. looks like the gulf between what the media and us actually think.
I can't find a single person that gives a flip about it, including myself. Its flu. get over it (literally) C (being sarcastic with a hint of tongue in cheek) |

But it's more likely that 'They' have released just enough information to get the media working overtime. Why? Well I think it's a bit like the magicians trick of distracting you while they palm the rabbit or whatever....I'm sure all the front pages and column inches of news have just displaced all the headlines and column inches about the global financial crisis. |
