Talking about thread titles, as the posts on here are more about the lightning, shouldn't it be "Rain, thunder, and lightning"?

I'd just like to point out that I got wet whilst out on the bike today. First time in flip knows how long. Happy to say that the new waterproof gloves I bought ahead of the BP Weekender (and certainly did not need on that weekend!) are excellent. Shame my very elderly boots left me with damp socks...

On the plus side, as Hugh is now very dirty I am less likely to be told off by Spannerman in three weeks when I drop the bike off for a service . Last year I was chastised in his usual leg-pulling way for "not riding it enough", despite the tail end of the lockdowns partly getting in the way.
