Default Fog City Inserts

I have just bought anb Arai condor which fits like a dream but the visor seems to like fogging up at anything more than a slight weeze! Ive been looking at anti fog inserts and come accross these fog city inserts for £10 on flee-bay. Just wondered if anyone has had any experience with these inserts and could tell me if they will solve my fogging woes.....

They're alight. Prone to some diffraction at night and once they're in they're not the exactly removable. But for a tenner you could do worse.

Pinlock is where it's at.

As mentioned above, Fog City inserts are fit-and-forget, you can't easily take them out and re-fit them. They also suffer from diffraction, so riding at night with one in can be a bit rubbish. Pinlock doesn't seem to have this problem.

Other than the above, I had no problems with a Fog City insert, so fill yer boots and stop worrying so much!

I bought a Fog City HyperOptik from HG for around £15.

It has a self-adhesive gasket around the edge that you can use to stick the insert to the visor, but I found this lost it's stickiness after a few weeks.

It does have cut outs for pins on the edges as well, so I went to my local bike shop, picked up some pins for free, drilled the visor and now I have the insert pinned in.

HAd the same issues. I brought a FOGCITY insert and a FOGGY nose piece. Still get some fogging but then I should have more sense than go out in -7, snow bound Britain in Feb.
