Re: Any Sourdough bakers out there?
After I made the mistake on the order, the wife announced her latest diet did not include bread. So a loaf can last me over a week (she is beginning to relent) . I had no idea how fast I would be using it and as the fruit was being used and the freezer half empty I thought the freezer could well be utilised, (plus the advice supplied is to store in a cool place or freeze it,) and simply its too hot in our house in the summer. The bbe of, was 6 months. Oh for an old fashioned pantry.
What do you use your flour for Gary? |

Re: Any Sourdough bakers out there?
I have 100% wholemeal flour which I use for everything - bread (in the breadmaker) crumbles, pastry, cakes etc. The flour I'm using atm is Doves Farm organic.

That is good flour - had a bag from a delicatessen not too far away, cost the earth, then found that Asda did some of their range
