Insurance
I have/had a multibike policy with Aviva with 4 bikes. They sent a letter saying they are stopping bike insurance so I need to find a new insurer. Oh joy!
I recently had to find insurance for another bike when LV also stopped bike insurance, and ended up with RAC (broker). I noticed they also offer multibike policies, so with great trepidation I phoned this afternoon. The prospect of going through all the details for 4 bikes was daunting. Got a chap on the phone within only a few minutes waiting time. He was a star. Went through everything, he knew his stuff on bikes, he worked out the best way to do the quote, and came back with the same underwriters as for the other bike (KGM), 4 bikes, fully comp with pillion cover, minimal excesses, mods/accessories included, protected NCB ................... £207. Smile!! (should have put this in Smile for the day)
