Cool The Long Way Round

Has anyone else seen this? Ewan MacGregor and Charley Boorman rode from London to new York via Russia and Siberia and Canada on BMWs. Excellent viewing

Watched the telly programme and read the book, all good stuff but they never explain where the heckety heck they get petrol from in the middle of Mongolian bogs etc.

And rich pretty boys they may be by the way but still a ****ing good effort!

If you can get hold of a copy of Mondo Enduro and/or Terra Circa.

Made a few years before LWR but the same idea except they do it on DR350's, no support vehicles and a shoestring budget.

Charley and Ewan are planning the Long Way Down, where they'll be riding from John O'Groats to Cape Town.

Read 3/4 of book and got bored with repetitiveness, seen some of the film. great idea but wrong people, all seemed to amount to...

McGregor... Me me me me me me

Boarman... McGregor, my hero...

i have to disagree with triumphumphumph there, I was expecting them to be a bit "big" and hollywoody, but they were really genuine and nice. Its a great DVD, and I can't wait til the next one!
