Maybe it will help others (other first time campers perhaps) remember something they had forgotton or in fact for some of you to remind me to bring something! Here goes: Camping:- Tent Sleeping Bag Airbed / Mat Clothes for weekend Shoes Medication (legal, honest!) Phone Charger Black Sacks (for serperating any wet stuff) Towel I.C.E Card Torch Painkillers (Just in case...) Pillowcase Earplugs Camera Sanitary Toothbrush Toothpaste Mouthwash Hair Gel Small Mirror Bog Roll! Deodorant Babywipes Soap Bike Related Can of lube GPS Waterproofs Tololkit Spare Key Waterproof's Pack some tools Anything else I missed? I dont want to be asking people to borrow obvious things all weekend becuase I've forgot Last edited by hongman; 02-08-10 at 12:20 PM. |

Re: What to Bring
Wouldn't bother with the bike cover, but if you've got the space...
If you've bought the AR clothing then you need to pack one tshirt and/or hoodie less |

Re: What to Bring
I bought a tent with an extra bedroom so the bike will be sleeping in there - no cover needed, either that or the bike can sleep with me and my OH can sleep in the spare room
List looks pretty complete, liking the spare key reminder, keep meaning to do that and never do!! |

Re: What to Bring
Mouthwash - Eh, personal preference. The meds I take leave a nasty after-taste in my mouth first thing which brushing doesnt seem to rid of. I'll bring a travel sized bottle, wont take up much space.
Bike Cover - Um...was just thinking if it chucks it down...maybe I wont bring it then! Lube - Small, again since I will be covering lots of (possible wet) miles, a good idea? Am I just being paranoid then? What would a useful bike sized toolkit comprise of? Spare key - noted. Thanks |

Re: What to Bring
If it's raining, then the bike will get wet.
Toolkit, whatever is under the seat in the oem. Chain lube isn't a bad idea. |
