Default DavyJones breakfast

Who’s up for a Davy Jones breakfast then? We’ll need to pick a day with decent weather.

Hmmm. Not sure. The weather seems so wet and miserable I think we're might be lucky to find a decent day. I've not ridden the bike since the end of October, so I'm keen to get a last ride before I sorn the bike for the winter.

Mine will be on the road all winter as usual. Can’t resist those crisp, dry winter days!

I'm the same - although there's been precious few of them since September!

'cos I'm a sad sack, I make a note of the days I've ridden and where I went. In 2018, from October 1st to the end of the year, I got to Wales (either the Ponda, Llyn Tegid or Llyn Brenig) SIX times - which means we had at least 6 dry Sundays with temps above freezing that allowed a good 3 to 4 hours riding.

Since September 1st this year, I've only managed to get to Wales 3 times. Most weekends have been ****ing wet.

It has been pretty damn dismal.

Managed to get a ride in today although sadly not to Davy Jones. Work related and a bit chilly but a gorgeous ride from Dolanog to Trefeglwys and back almost entirely on B roads. Saw about six cars all the way.

I've been looking at the bbc weather forecast and i think everyday for the next week or so every day has rain at some point. Depressing. Glad you got out though.
