Internet security question
A quick question, if you please, about internet security.
I have an up to date virus and spyware checking system (McAfee) so I'm not desperately worried. However one thing odd keeps happening. I usualy stay logged into the org, my email and FB, so that when I go to the sites I'm simply automatically logged in; but all week end, everytime I go to one of these addresses I have to log in afresh. Is something up? |

Re: Internet security question
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your computer so that it can recognise you the next time you come back, in the org's case it notes your login details and that you want to stay logged in, so when your browser comes back to the website the website behaves appropriately... Assuming the org uses cookies to track user details? If not I'm talking a load of cobblers...
If you block or clear them then the website will be unable to remember you...
