Return Date: 2nd September From where i live, the distance is circa 200 miles to Bodmin. I would say to budget for 4 tanks of fuel, for us SV'ers. Total mileage to be around 600 (at a guess) Campsite location:http://www.campsitesincornwall.co.uk/ Cost: £8 per person, per night Itinerary for the weekend TBC-one thing is for sure we are going to Boobys Bay |

Re: Bodmin: 31st Aug-2nd Sept-(information thread)
UPDATE
All routes are a rough idea. They may change depending on time, weather and people. Friday route down: Saturday ride out: On Saturday, feel free to go to places and touristy things on route. The route can be as long/short as you want and where you want to go to. Again, weather may affect this!!! Sunday ride home is what you want, can be similar roads as used on the Friday. Or the alternate Friday route-for instance if we don't come through Dartmoor national park on Friday, we can go through it on the way back Grant; We'll arrange a meeting place near Christchurch or Blandford Forum. You probably know where is best to meet and a good lcoation. A petrol station/service centre on a main road-give me a post code/address and we'll meet you there. We'll swap contact info next week, as well as getting your bike ready for the trip![/QUOTE] |
