Morning all. Another cold morning here, and a good frost. It's finished off the veg and flower plants that had been hanging on in my garden, so I'll pull out and compost the courgettes and the cosmos once the ground thaws enough to get them out.

Other than that it'll be a walk with Mabel and then prepping for a music workshop I've been asked to lead this weekend.

What's everyone up to?

Right so it's base layers time again. I've coated myself in whale fat and got sewn into a sealskin onesie. I'll probably smell quite bad, but at least people will move out of the way when I want to get to the bar! Should see me through till next March.

Morning all. A change in the weather here. It's chucking it down with rain and forecast to continue all day. I'd rather have the cold, clear weather than this. Ah well, a day of indoor stuff then I think.

How's the weekend looking for everyone?

Not much planned here. Cleaning probably.

Out on a pretty wet walk with Mabel at the moment. Glad I recently re-proofed all my wet weather walking kit. I wish now I'd left the base layers off though as it's considerably milder than yesterday. Still, can't waste all that whale fat.

House cleaning can wait till this afternoon.....

We had pretty dank weather here yesterday too. Not too bad in the morning and managed to test the new hose and lance on the pressure washer by rinsing off the cars. Works a treat - so much easier to use now.

Much nicer today so the pressure washer came out again and Bullseye had his annual wash. I'll leave him to dry for a week and add ACF50 next weekend (hopefully).

I ventured out on the bike today. A touch nippy but enjoyable. Roads were a bit greasy and muddy in places. The bike got a good hosing off when I got back to remove mud and salt. That's probably my last ride of the year as I'll SORN the bike and get some road tax back.
