Default Official rain thread

right its never bothered us before but its now getting rather wet in this part of the world..

we live on the top of a hill and everyone else gets the rain..just been on to the local shop and been confronted with a lake where the path usually is,
my garden is filling up now and my carpets wet behind the front door, i've got a pond on the floor of my shed and both bikes are covered up inside it, Im Indoors came in this morning on the Raptor like a drowned rat, and its covered up in the garden, full of rain.
so how is the rest of the org.....cause its grim ooop norf

I took a detour home from the missus's last night and it was the worst thing I coulda done, you can tell what roads get used and which dont, the 4rse end was all over the place, i started to get used to it in the end but the first time it shat me up. The roads that do get used, have got to a stage where they are grippy now cos there has been so much rain. My kit is all soaked except for me leathers cos yesterday it was dry and the roads

Spose its better than the ice ent it...

This rain sucks!!

I live a stone's throw away from River Aire which is now on Flood Watch.

Just been to have a look and it looks ready to burst it's banks to me.

I best check my insurance details again.

I've actually noticed a lot more rain recently.

We did have a water hose ban, not anymore. I usually seem to miss the rain, either comes before or after I get home/to work, but recently it hasn't only rained whilst im riding, but its always been torrential rain and its bloody hard to ride in. Even with rain-x, anti mist, pinlock lid, the water still eventually creaps in the visor, steaming it up, creating rain marks, cars rear lights become like stars in the sky.

I don't mind actually riding in the rain, its everything else around it i hate
