Default Allowed to ride other bikes with Bennetts?

Philbut's insurance allows him to ride any other bike third party apparently for no extra cost. I want to try out his bike but I can't for the life of me find on my policy or the web whether Bennetts bike insurance allow you to ride other peoples bikes third party? Anyone know? Is it a common thing?

did you ask for it ? I've found on alot of policies it's not there, one of the ways they save premium costs, if it's not on your policy then you don't have it.

Cheers Mark.

carol nash supply it as standard anyway don't they( if you've a full license) its always been on mine. Bennets are funny oniions, so they'd probably not let you, unless you pay em 50 million groats for the pleasure

It's wise to check to see if you'll be covered. I found that some insurers that CN broker don't give any bike cover, and most of Bennetts don't. E=bike don't offer it at all.

Which is a turn around, as they used to make a big thing out of 'ride your mates bike'

Just phone them up and give them the reg and they shouldnt charge you owt. Done this a few times with my car policy when i've had to borrow motors and they just ask how long i'll be driving it for and add it temporarily. Never been charged for it.
