BMRC minitwins etc at Brands this weekend (7th - 8th March)
Hey
Thought I'd pop along to Brands this weekend to witness Minitwins action first hand. I'm hoping to race next year or the year after and thought it would be interesting. Is anyone else going as a spectator? Is there a hardcore group of followers? Is the public allowed into the paddock area? I've been to Brands for some classic car racing before and you were allowed in there for a nose and chat with the racers. It'd be great to meet some of the minitwin racers too and get some tips! I'd even help out with some spannering if anyone needs it. Cheers Stu |

Oooo likewise.
2 day event or just sunday racing? Maybe pop down, want to see the minitwins and supers. Don't suppose you know of a schedule for the days racing anywhere do you? |

Blimey, those rounds have come down!!!!
Looking back at some old BEMSEE and KRC programs my old man kept, they had between 25-32 races in a day!! BEMSEE now has 18..... Doh.... |

Between 6-12 laps depending on class.
This was late 80's to mid 90's. |

But they do that now with 14 races. Is there just a lot more waiting around now?

If you would like to visit minitwin racing come to garage 29 over the weekend at Brands and meet Sam Cox who is competing in the SV 650 class. At 18 years old he is in the second year of racing and won the Rooky 400 at Bemsee last year and would love to win some races this year. Happy to share any experience we have had over the last 4 years or so..............crashes aplenty! Racing Number 66 (missing a 6 but hoping to ride like a devil).
