Default Bandit stock tyres

Hi all.

Have read about all the different tyres people have replaced their stocks with. It would appear that everyone is referring to d220's.

I have ordered a new bandit and the spec sheet states the following for the tyres:

Front Tyre: 120/70 ZR17M/C (58W)
Rear Tyre: 160/60 ZR17M/C

What make are they? Are they any good? I will be taking it easy anyway to start with as a new rider, but any comments before I take to the road would be most welcome.

Cheers.

Hello fella. Been trying to get on messenger all night but no matter what firewall settings i change it still won't let me in grrrrrrrrrrr

The tyres you've mentioned in the spec sheet are just the sizes (same as my SV) but the D220s are Dunlops, never tried them but imagine they're much better than the Metzeler MEZ4s I had on mine as stock. Then again I'd probably get better traction running on just the rims than them pesky MEZ4s. Looking at the Bandit pic on the Suzuki website it looks like you'll be running on Bridgestones, which should be ok, certainly the sort of speeds and riding you'll be doing anyway.

Catch ya later.
