Rideout - Meet in the middle 2025
How about an .org get together next year somewhere? I'm thinking Cumbria or Yorkshire as it's sort of in the middle of where most (but not all!) of the active members are.
Could be a day or a weekend, just thinking it would be nice to have a get together. |

That would be nice. If we could avoid the first week of whichever month suits everyone best it's less likely to clash with my busy time at work.

Be good to try and have it before main holiday season starts too.

Shell has been on about an AR25 on Facebook to get the older Org users together. I did join the group, but left as I probably wouldn't be able to go due to working on a Sunday

I saw that Col, and joined the group but there doesn't seem to be much happening except a bit of bickering about who should be included as an admin.

At the minute, as far as I can tell, I've got no particular constraints on dates and I'm pretty easy on location preference. (But I am thinking about putting in a few 'special event'-type activities next year - because I hit 55 and Covid restrictions pretty much blew away the more typical 'made it to 50' landmark celebration opportunity. So the earlier a date is proposed the better, so I can prioritise it.)

As I'm a bit pathetic these days, and my camping days are way behind me, can I suggest we have at least an option for more substantial sleeping arrangements? I really should warn you all too that I snore terribly, as Gary found to his cost on the Border Weekender two years ago...

Ok, weekdays or weekend, Cumbria or Yorkshire, one day or two? How about sometime in June?

Weekday may be better to avoid tourists or more expensive accomodation if not camping, although June is generally before school holidays. FYI, only significant thing I might be scheduling around in June (as far as I know today) is the Yorkshire MAG Farmyard Party rally on weekend of 20-22 June. (It's been a long time since I went to one and I'm tempted to just buy a ticket and go again. I'm also tempted to do Stormin' the Castle later in the year too - never been but it's supposed to be a good 'un, but a bit more of a trek north east.) Happy to consider an informal org group if anyone else is OK with a camping event.

Re: Rideout - Meet in the middle 2025
Once I'm back from Cumbria I'll take a proper look at this.
