Not very biker-ish I know. In fact there are general chat and picture threads on some bike forums I definitely would not be posting this, but I feel the .org is forgiving and broadminded enough to cope with this picture.

My rainy afternoon activity - an instrument bag/case for daughter Eleri's low D whistle.

It's a steep learning curve, but the more I use this lovely old treadle machine the more I enjoy it.

Completed whistle case. It was a fun project and it'll be a much nicer Christmas gift than something bought from the shops.

We've got weird weather here, with a temperature inversion so that it's dense fog at sea level but if you go up in the hills, it's dazzling sunshine with the entire Cheshire Plains covered in a downy white blanket.
Took this pic from a viewpoint above Macc, the town is completely invisible under the fog. It's about 6 miles as the crow flies from where the pic was taken to the comms tower on the hill.
