If you're going up as far as matlock/buxton/bakewell I'd be tempted if I'm feeling any chirpier.
Just looked at a map, I see that'll be unlikely.

There is supposed to be another band of snow coming over tonight, to be gone by 9am, and temperature of -3 overnight, so we could have some snow and ice about. Will depend on road conditions for me.

If the sun is out and the roads OK I'll be going out after lunch (1pm) for a couple of hours. What sort of time are you thinking about?

Sooner the better for me otherwise I get pi$$ed off & start eatin ! I am usually up at 6am

Im hoping to get out for some fresh air in the afternoon, but tbh dont wanna go far as were going out for lunch late afternoon.

What sort of times are you thinking? You could always get your missus to meet you somewhere in between Solihull and Worcester late afternoon, to give you a bit more time riding, The Bell in Tanworth-In-Arden is a nice place for lunch.
