Rejected!
...at the blood doning place. Spent ages getting there, took Anne's car instead of the bike (which is sat outside in Barker Street car park, keeping Robaker's red SV company) as I thought it's only a mile, no point gearing up, so spent ages stuck in traffic. And then they tell me that as I've been to the USA within the last 29 days I can't give cos they have West Nile Virus there. I replied that it was better than having Se Nile Virus. They didn't see the funny side.... So no tea and biscuits and back in December.

i went to SA and then Venezuela just over 12 months apart, put me out fo donating for ages...
but they have to be certain

I used to donate in South Africa but was told that I couldn't donate in the UK due to my spending 20-odd years in africa...ho hum...

When I lived in the states I couldn't give blood cos I was a brit and we've had mad cow disease over here.

I've not been able to give blood for a while now due to having tattoos done, got to wait 12 months from having tattoo done before you can give blood
