Default Expensive time of year ...

Not only is Christmas looming, over the next 8 weeks I have lots of money going out on stuff I wish I didn't have to spend ...

I have Van Tax, Van MOT, Car Tax, Car insurance, Bike Tax, bike insurance and MOT (that might be Feb actually) ...

So that is about a grand on legalities!!

Legalities suck!!

Anyone else have a whole host of annual bills come at once like this???

I pay pretty much ever other bill DD, but always paid insurances and tax etc up front as it is cheaper ...

It's cheaper to drive uninsured and pay the fine

Haha no insurance is 6 points and £200....I think the fine is a joke really.

Hmm, Well it my mum's 50th coming up so thats gonna be mega, a few parties for xmas, plus xmas its self sigh. The small fact I still owe money on my credit card and over drawn on my grad account But its not costing anything so thats good! Interest free yah!

I'm sure other grads know this one my student loan repayments are mad £120/month thats alot!

The only big bill I got is house insurance, not sure what that is yet probally £200 my car insurance is montly, its actually not that much, then my car is 14 years old, it really should have a new cam belt next year that over £120 easily. Dam the list just goes on......

Glad I don't own a car.

Damm I forgot I pay the insurance on the daughters, maintain son & daughters van and car.

Guess who drove into a gatepost yesterday. Daughter, time to get the spray gun out.

Well I just had to tax and MOT the bike and car, and insure the bike.
So this year, I've just gone for 6 months tax on them so that I can spread out the costs of these things, and so that road tax AND insurance (and MOT's) don't all come at once. In 6 months time, I'll get a year's tax on them ... so at least all I have to worry about is the tax in 6 months ... then 6 months after that, it'll just be MOT's and bike insurance.

Although my car insurance is due for renewal at the end of January.

Shhhhh to much use of the g word will get the Echelon system revving up

Then again I do have a former friend locked up for being silly enough to try to hire an undercover cop to knock off his wife. I at least will not be asking you to do my dirty work

My car and bike insurance/tax/mot/house insurance/tv licencing used to fall at the same time, but I've shifted these apart and moved the bike tax by renewing for only 6 months.
