Default Pushing pots back in

Hi all.

I decided to change both front and rear pads today.
Ive done them before on the Bandit no problems.
Couple of quiestions tho.
I done the front with out any problems. Tho they seem spongy and not stopping the bike too well.
Noob question but do I need to bleed the brakes?

Also, the rear is being a pig - I cant push the pots back in, ive cleaned the muck around them off with brake cleaner, relesed the res cap and the nipple - no matter how hard I try they wont budge - mole grips the lot.

I took the rear wheel off the bandit to do it last time, but the SV has no center stand, I have no abba stand so this is going to be the last resort somehow. Any other way I can try to push to pots back in. Been trying for over an hour now.

Assuming it's a curvy, have you taken the rear caliper off? Easy enough, only 3 bolts, but leave the brake line attached. Possibly pump the pistons out a little bit further if safe to do so, and clean again around the pistons, then try pushing them back again. It's a known problem that the seals seize on the pistons.

Yes sorry is 2001 Curvy. I tryed to take the caliper off but one bolt undone, the other didnt typical -

I didnt spend too long on the bolt as I didnt want to completly bugger them, will have another go tommorow.

G-Clamp I think would be too big/bulky to fit into the space.

Which bolts are you trying to undo? It's not the torx-headed bolts.

Yes, those are the right ones. Personally, if it was me I'd want to get those bolts out and also the one securing the caliper to the torque arm and it will be much easier to work on the caliper then.
