Default Another drink driver off the road.

This morning around 2ish heard a massive smash.

It was without a doubt vehicle hitting vehicle. Jumped out of be and looked out of the window. It would seem that a car had smashed into the side of another parked car and continued along the road and parked in his own drive.

The owner of the driven into car came running out and immediately went to the other house and started to argue and shout at the woman who's car it was. She was in her night clothes so it was quite obvious she had not been driving her own car. No sign of the driver mind.

I watched for a while and it became quite obvious both parties had decided to settle it in the morning. I thought I'm not having this. This looks like a cover up to me. So the Old Bill got a phone call. The arrived within a few minutes and the end result was the son of the woman being carted off down the police station.

I then heard the owner of the hit into car talking to the sister of the arrested son stating they had told him he shouldn't use the car as he was drunk. It would seem however the didn't object enough and let him drive anyway.

Just goes to show that they are all as thick as thieves around here. In fact one man who came out of the 'victims' house was shouting at the top of his voice some rather derogatory remarks to the police.

Never a dull moment on the BigApe's housing estate.

Anyway, that's one less drink driver on the roads this christmas.

Saw them all outside their house having a big joke and laugh about it this morning. If nothing else it has proved to myself I did the right thing.

Thank-you. I love feeling that some people out there are willing to help us out!

Thanks again.

Whoa there Crockett! Surely the rozzers are there to help the public out? Otherwise we're in a totalitarian, police state...comrade?
