Have a 2002 Suzuki SV650.
The clutch pushrod, behind the clutch release mechanism, how do you replace that? do you just pull out the old one and push in the new one? Does it go in a certain way. I've been using the CLYMER guide. There is no description, no pictures to help. Anyone have anything information on the topic would be very help. Last edited by archerz; 18-01-08 at 10:54 PM. Pull it out and replace, maybe worth replacing the seal?
I have no idea if one end is different to the other, they look the same, but I've always put mine in the same way it can out just to be safe.

Yep clean the grit away from the area first. Try it without a new seal first, I got away with it. If you do it on the sidestand the oil will dribble out, get someone to hold the biek upright. And remember to reset the clutch lifter screw afterwards.
