Default Turning Left or Right.

Was just wondering, does anyone have a preference when it comes to corners?

I really don't mind leaning over left, can get my knee down if I try hard enough (on some corners). But when it comes to leaning to the right, on roundabouts for example, the thought of leaning over just half as far gives me the willies and I don't know why!

Anyone else experienced this, have any idea why?

Cheers

Si

Think its just one of these things, some folk are left handed, something to do with the stronger side of the brain. Personally I'm better with right hand bends but I think thats to do with the fact you get so much practise on roundabouts.

I used to be worse in rights, after low-siding one of the training school bikes during DAS (still can be, if I've gone a bit over the safe limit). Generally though, I don't have a preference - I'm equally slow in both at the moment.

I hate left turns.

Just don't feel as confident as when I'm turning right.

I'm better at left handers than right. It's cos I'm right handed and it dates back to the days when I was a kid with a scooter. Scooting with my left foot made left handers safe but right handers a bit uncomfortable. Then there's the psychological damage of being locked in the cupboard...........
