Not going to work.
A considerably heavier Range Rover wasnt any use in changing mine ![]() Those ARE the Phillips replacement ones ![]() Oh and BTW I wasn't trying to be awkward in referring to FGO - just I dont really remember apart from retaining clips, making sure they are the right way up and rubber boots........

Quite easy really, if not a bit fiddly til you have done one.
You might find that taking off the small cover on the fairing will help with visibility of the back of the light. Firstly, pull off the electrical connector from the back of the bulb. Then fully take off the rubber gaiter type thingy. Next, and this is the bit where I got stuck, release the spring clip holding the bulb in. This is where removing the cover from the fairing comes in handy. Take old bulb out and put new bulb in, remembering to avoid touching the glass of the bulb. Carry out all of the above in reverse and, if you think its needed, raise the headlight level a bit with the 8mm bolts/crosshead bolt accessed through the fairing cover which you have already removed. I put some Halfords 50% brighter bulbs in and raised the beam a bit and the differene is amazing. My level is set so its just below the rear windows of the car in front. Possibly a tad high but works for me and I've only been flashed once. |
