OK, I am sure it has a real name but I don't know what it is.
Its the little switch that sits under the clutch lever and means you have to pull in the clutch to start the bike. I have had to bypass it with a piece of wire and before I go the the garage on Monday wondered if someone had one lying around. Also any advice on how to get the faulty one off would be appreciated. It is just two small crosshead screws but its been on for 8 years.... TIA Gordon |

Aye, that could be an option. I'm in the habit after 2 years of pulling the clutch lever in anyways, I have even done it when riding another bike!

I've just cut the wires to the switch last weekend. I loosened the handlebar clamp bolt and pivoted the lever around. That way you can see what you're doing. I used a scotchlock connector thingy as I can't do soldering. Now I only need one hand to start the bike.
