Does anyone know offhand what size of C spanner you need, when removing the steering stem adjuster nut?
And any other specific tools I'll need for removing the forks? |

Phone your local Suzuki stealer to get the size then source it locally. Got mine from the stealers and I forgot the vaseline (T'was v expensive for a sh1te piece of metal but was in a rush to get the job started!).

I can never get mine tight enough with a drift. Eternally clunking. You'd think a c-clamp was the holy grail over here, I could forge one easier than buying one.

I've misunderstood here, thought you were on about the socket to undo the top bolt. Sorry.
Er you can get an adjuster tight enough with a drift to completely f##k the bearings, I'd guess your clunk is from elsewhere.

Tried the local tool shop today but they don't have c spanners, so I think I'll just look for an adjustable one online |
