Okay, so I took the front end of the bike apart today a little bit, just to see if I wanted to streetfighter it (my left and right fairings are a bit pooed up, so to speak), and i've been well into the streetfighter look for a while. So I took it all apart, started it up and went for a drive. Felt great, if a little scary with nothing in front of me apart from a wheel. Regardless, felt great.
Here's a pic of what I did today: ![]() I want to keep it like that, minimal at the front and maybe two bulbs on top of each other and some little LCD gauges, maybe even just a fuel gauge. Not sure yet. Basically, my questions are: 1- What are my options for lights, price etc, and I'm pretty sure I can mount them quite easily, but does anyone with experience know how to mount the lights? and 2- Where do all these bloody wires go to get tidied up!? Thanks guys, I appreciate any and all input. Conrad |

Depends what sort of lights you want. I've just fitted an Enduro headlight to my K5 pointy and that just uses two 12v sealed downlights like the ones you buy in B&Q for your kitchen. Very light, and surprisingly bright, but no good for anything over 40mph.
I managed to lose all the wiring into the space between the air box and the headstock, but I believe the pointy is different from your curvy. |

i bought my sv650 pre-streetfightered with dominator twin headlights. I have to say that they arent very bright TBH. The light comes out rather dim from twin H4's and gives poor range on the road, i used the same bulbs in my car and are a lot brighter.
Maybe due to poor battery output or something? |

You could try ebay as it has lots of lights for the bike on it, new, used, and even 'kits'.
Also depends on if your going to put on riser bars or keep the clip-ons, the naked model hides alot of loom behind the clocks in light. Though I think its also a shorter loom, as its only a single light system, so you could mod the loom to your needs or get hold of one off a naked. But thats going to be hard as more S models sold then the N's. I've been going though these actions myself, but I have cut the fairing down to a quarter fairing and got the riser bars on which meant logger throttle and clutch cables. |

But to fit the front loom off of a N model to a S model you'd need to change the main loom as the looms connectors are different

I should just be able to stuff all the wires in the gaps around the airbox, cheers for the input guys, basically, when I get paid I'm going to be going on www.streetfighterstore.com and then get the twin dominator headlight with the bracket, only £60 ish, and then the mirrors with the indicators in that I've found room to fit on the clip-ons. I'll deal with add-on clocks when I run out of fuel, I guess!

Stick all the front bits on e-bay and you should be able to get everything you need.
