Commercial Con, I hate it. It doesnt mean i wont do something nice for my girlfriend and wont ruin her day because of my hate for it...... but I still hate it

Yep... could't agree more
Don't spoil the day.. but do some thing special on your own day. Have found in the past that most restaurants change their menu for valentines and you end up with rubbish selections\set menus. |

I do believe that it is very commercial, however, if there is a day when you can spoil a loved one and make them feel special why not take advantage!!!

I'm away on Valentines day so I'm not in the good books. We're having a mini valentines days on Thurs though before I go away! (Its either that or I'm not allowed to go

It's a load of sh*t dreamed up by greetings card, chocolate and flower cartels.
MrsWRC63 knows by now that she's getting nowt from me, and I don't even recognise 'Valentines Day' as anything other than 'February 14th'. |
