Default 2004 corsa

hi ppl my girlfriend has a 2004 vauxhall corsa and some swine snapped off the rear wiper but it left part of the fitting on thats held on by a nut, ive taken the nut off but cant get the fitting off am i doin something wrong or does it need a bit of persuasion. please help.

not got a corsa but had similar issue with my ibiza.

use some WD40 to loosen up the remainder of the arm. DO NOT use anything to try and get it off as you might crack the glass!!!

just use pure force by hand and maybe tap it a bit lightly with a hammer
