Afghanistan has made it...
Finally, democracy and culture have kicked in in a land of savages, they've announced the winner of "Afghan Star" - the brown people's equivalent of Pop Idol
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/7309029.stm in case you missed the final: "Rafi Naabzada, 19, saw off his rival Hameed Sakhizada, 21, to win the contest" Never mind that the country is essentially buggered, opium production is at a 14 year high and we still haven't found arguably the worlds most recognisable man whose only means of defence appears to be hiding in a cave and wearing a dishcloth
