MOT tomorrow, so took off my LOUD/non BS can and stuck my new legal (removable baffle) Motad on this AM. After discussion in another thread about someone not being able to split the link pipe and can (they had corroded together over time) so they can no longer remove the baffle, I decided not to insert the baffle cone in the can itself, but to put my baffle cone in the other end of the link pipe where it fits/connects to the downpipes/collector.
![]() Slotted in fine and should be so much easier to remove/insert when required, and eradicates the problem of the can not coming free!! ![]() Soooooo if anyone else has a Motad, they might want to think about doing the same!! ![]() Used the bike this AM and there were no noticeable negative traits in running (apart from it being too quiet ![]() ![]() Last edited by Blue_SV650S; 27-03-08 at 11:28 AM. |

![]() So on the way home I took the baffle cone out ... its quite fruity now ![]() I am amazed how effective that little cone is, it doesn't look like it would do anything!! ![]() |
