Default Battery hassle

Why is it so difficult to get hold of a battery for pointy? Local bike shop (Guv'nors Bridge in Atherstone) didn't have any, Drayton Croft Suzuki in Hinckley were, uncharacteristically, unhelpful "I don't know what you want blah blah blah..." Interesting, a general bike shop can find out what I need whereas a Suzuki dealer can't. Hein Gericke in Brum and Leicester had sold out after their VAT free promotion (but they knew what I needed straight away) but they could get one in for Wednesday. Finally, I phoned Bikers World in Coleshill/Water Orton, near Brum and success. Now I have a working bike for the princely sum of £50!

For future refernce:

The battery code for the pointy is YTX12-BS

It's the time of year that summer riders get their bikes out. MOT stations and battery suppliers are over-run with people demanding their services around easter. It happens every year, get used to it.
