Morning Chap and Chapess
I have just finished fitted a said tail tidy to my pride and joy, the question I have is, on the old plastic lump there was a space for the rear reflector, now as I look at my joy I have seen there is no space (Albit a very small between numberplate and it's light). And I was wondering what the legal requirments are for that rear reflector. The tail tidy is produced by Hamicad and there website is www.hamicad.co.uk. I owe a K7 650s, so any help in this matter would be great. Jinxy |

I think you need a rear reflector for MOT, the easiest way is to buy a small 10p sized reflector that sticks onto the bottom corner of your number plate.

Ok, legally you need a rear reflector and it must be red.
No you can either get a little bicycle reflector and stick it on the number plate corner... Or a red reflective sticker... To be 100% legal it would also need to have the Euro or BS mark on it but its not that important nowadays just as long as it is reflective and red. P.S. I few bike shops used to sell little adhesive round reflectors (10p size). Last edited by Dangerous Dave; 05-04-08 at 10:57 AM. |
