Default Lancashire servicing?

Hi all, I'm after some advice please.

The SV needs a service (big one - valve clearances, etc.) but I've no idea where to take it since Slingers sold out in Preston. Does anyone have any recommendations based on experience please? The bike is out of warranty so it doesn't need to be a Suzuki dealer, but I want to be confident that a decent job will be done. Someone suggested Raceways in Fleetwood.

Cheers

I recommend El Saxo servicing in Standish, Wigan.. He has a small but tight knit team of three EXPERTS, himself, Double D and Stretchie.

If it's got petrol in it, Saxo can set it alight... ; ) (Just don't let him near your spark plugs)

Sorry, I don't have a serious answer : )

As for the doing the BIG servicing, I don't know, I only know of dealers which means dealer prices.

Your Burscough then, I don't know anyone round that neck of the woods.

However, you could try Damian Hill at Whittle le Woods, He does mobile motorcycle spannering 01257 410413. and about 20 minutes from you.

Thumbs up Re: Lancashire servicing?

Hello Steve, one of the old slingers mechanics (pep) transferred to the new owners, pete stott left. I would trust pep to do the work, but nobody else there. It's worth giving them a call and confirming if he is still there and would be the one doing the work.

B&C Performance Tyres in Bolton 01204 577333. They are the guys that were at Sharples and they have also worked at SMD in years gone by. The only place I trust with my bike now for ALL its work.
