They are reasonably popular on Deauvilles, but screens are a very individual thing, some people find them ideal while others find them noisy etc.
They seem to be good quality.

It looks similar to these at http://www.laminarlip.com/ claims to use aerodynamics to deflect the air flow.
I'm having a go at making one, got as far as cutting the plastic to size at the moment. |

I have just fitted one to my pointy but I haven't been out yet (waiting for new helmet to arrive). I think it looks great, much better than a high touring screen I tried. I could take a couple of photos and post them if you like.

They look bad on SVs, but they do well at keeping the wind off. I kept mine on the most upward setting all the time. Unfortunately, the top of mine came off in a crash. MRA (who are supposed to have good customer service) repeatedly ignored all enquiries about buying a replacement about just this part (which doesn't seem unreasonable when the screen was the best part of £90 and it's only a small bit that has broken). I've currently got just the bottom part on it.
The fitment is good- almost as good as the original screen, none of those ugly gaps round the edge like on some of the cheaper double bubbles. |
