KOMPO-TECH anyone ever bought from them???

anyone here ever bought from kompo-tech before?

im looking one of ther race/single seat tail units but was wondering how quick ther post is 2 the UK? and is ther a postage cost or is post prices already on the items?

i cant really seem 2 find much about post on ther site.

Yes, used them before. There is an added postage charge, you'll see it in the basket section once you have added an item and stated you address. Their postage is quick and efficient, however, there products aren't that good of quality and may require some finishing work (at least it has been like this for every item I have received for SV's and other bikes).

when you say ther items aren't that good of quality and may need finishing do you only mean maby a bit of rubbing down or soemthing???

or do you mean ther items arnt that strong???

Not that strong, especially the GSXR race fairing a mate ordered. Common problem I have found is where any bolt goes through the bodywork they made it stronger by slopping a dollop of resin on it which in the end need sanding off to get the thing to fit straight, also a lot of the pre-marked bolt holes are out of place so double check before drilling.

aye they have them but ther looking around ?140/150 for one includeing post the same thing on kompotech is like ?98 quid

if it was only a bit of rubbing down needed on them 2 give the unit a good finish i wouldnt mind takeing one but you say the quality its self isnt that good.

Compared to the likes of others then no the quality isn't or wasn't that good, but you have to consider the price difference also. Some items have been ok and some haven't, given these items were the same product it says something about there manufacturing process.

as long as it was strongish i wouldnt mind anything else really but i dont watn something thats been made from kitchen roll or something lol.
