Give me a get rich quick scheme!

Ok, I have been a man of leisure for nearly 2 days now ... and I have to say I am liking it

Although financially ok at the moment, I don't have enough to last indefinitely ...

So ... I am now on the lookout for a get rich quick scheme ...

Anyone got any ideas (serious of silly, I don't mind ... sometimes even silly ideas can sporn proper ones ).

Go to a Casino and use the "Double on Lose" method @ roulette

Patience and loads of time seem to be the prime requisite for that.

Or try your local bookies for an electronic version where you dont have someone seeing what you are doing

Ive always thought of buying bikes and breaking them and selling the parts on ebay, Ive brought and sold alot of bike parts on there and they seem to fetch really good money, when i smashed my sv650 i worked out i could buy it back from the insurance and turn it into £1500 - £2000 of spare parts and id enjoy doing it too.

Too much like hard work and dealing with idiots!! ... you will only end up with tonnes of stuff that no one wants anyway

Here, what I could do is go to an e-bookmakers and bet on things that only have 2 outcomes. Like betting on a team NOT to lose (i.e. even if it is a draw they didn't lose) ... then bet on BOTH sides/people but at slightly different odds meaning the resulting payout is guaranteed to make you at least a small winning, or if the odds are such that you can win reasonable or break even (depending on result, i.e the odds are such that you simply get your money back or money+x depending on who actually win) then all is well ...

I take it different bookmakers will have different odds and therefore this might be possible???

... think about it ... if you can make say a 1% return during a day and you have bet ?50,000 (remember this is guaranteed as you are betting on both sides, so the £50k is never in jeopardy) that is £500/day ...

not bad for a days work

I'd only bother working one day a week and take the other 6 as the easy life if I could get that sort of return ... I don't think 1% is that optimistic is it?!?!

In a way, for football, bet on the favorate. then when they score, the odds change instantly, so then bet against them (lose or draw) and then you are gaurenteed a winning.

This does depend on the favorate scoring 1st or taking the lead at some point in the game. Although I have done the same thing when the favorate goes 0-1 down. bet on the old favorate at massivly inflated odds. when they equalise, bet against them.

None of these are fool proof though.

Gambling is for mugs .. or lucky people! I wouldn't GAMBLE £50k!!! are you mad?!!?!?

Therefore I don't want to 'gamble'!! ... just play the odds/bookies such that I only bet on stuff where the opposing odds are such that I am guaranteed at a minimum to always get my money back - potentially win biger, or ALWAYS win a little
